Rachel & Nate's Boston Public Gardens & Alden Castle wedding!

My final wedding of the year!!! What a way to go out with this mid-mod inspired celebration. I intend to do a lot of blogging over the winter so stay tuned for much more over the next few months.

Here is Rachel and Nate's stunningly styled Alden Castle wedding. They started their day at Park Plaza, followed by portraits at the Boston Public Gardens, and exchanged vows in the vintage ballroom at Alden.

Rachel has such a unique style, sort of a classy vintage. It was so much fun to see her and Nate's personal style come through the imagery! They are truly gems!  Feast your eyes upon the images below and be sure to let me know what you think!

From the Plaza we wandered to the Boston Gardens where Nate saw Rachel for the first time!

We spent some time in the Gardens capturing just the bride + groom, followed by family!

Kara + Patrick's Lynch Park & Carriage House wedding in Beverly, MA

If you're looking for unique beauty, I've got it for you right here in Kara and Patrick's combination garden and barn wedding!  Flowing with antiques, custom artwork and vintage style, it's a feast for the eyes!  I adored the color palette from the minute I heard about it!

We started the day in Manchester-By-The-Sea at Kara's childhood home!  Her mom is an artist and the wedding invitations and menus are designed from a watercolor print she did of their venue, Lynch Park!

The details were carefully thought out and SO charming!

Kara has some really gorgeous friends, and if you notice one of them looks a bit like her... it's her twin sister Marni!  Ask me how confused I was when Marni showed up to our site visit first... ;-)

And Kara...

For the ceremony we moved to the rose garden at Lynch Park which is right on the ocean.  It's gorgeous year round, but the flowers were in bloom aplenty... and it was perfect.  They included a lemonade stand for their guests, and a guitarist for added ambiance!

Newlyweds and their best friends.

A two minute walk to the Carriage House for some stunning atmosphere.  It's a brand new wedding venue -- and if you're looking on the North Shore I highly recommend it!  I've lived here for 20 years and was so excited to see it open up!

Thank you Kara, Patrick, Marni, and Marion for your warmth, and for putting together such a beautiful event.  It was a pleasure.

xo, Amber

Melissa + Adam's Castle Hill Crane Estate Wedding in Ipswich, MA

Get ready for gorgeous architecture, sweeping views, perfect florals, and great dance moves because Melissa and Adam had it all at their romantic castle wedding!  If you missed their story along with the Beacon Hill and Crane Estate engagement session last year, it was featured on Style Me Pretty and you can check it out here!

These two have a knack for style, and with Melissa's detail oriented personality and beautiful heart, this was one wedding I am thrilled to highlight...

Stepping onto the property of Crane Estate is photographer eye-candy!  It's visually stunning and the perfect setting for a heartfelt celebration.

Melissa and Adam chose to do a first look, as well as all their formals images in advance of the ceremony.  The sunshine was warm and we all enjoyed the view of the ocean!

They exchanged vows outside of the castle, overlooking the water.  Breathtaking!

Adorable details only highlighted by the vintage character of the property.
Can they be any cuter?!  Melissa is a trained in dance, so we twirled and whirled everywhere!  So much fun!

Time to celebrate!  The band kept the party hot and everyone danced into the night!!

Yes, that is a smores pit below!  Creative and so much for the guests!  Delicious!

Thank you Adam and Melissa!!

Keep traveling the world together!

Beachy, elegant, romantic, with unique details... Boston Omni Parker House Wedding - Lili + Jim by Forevercandid Photography

I was excited from the very beginning when Lili told me their wedding would be Mad Men inspired!  Her and Jim picked the most charming Boston venue, and included such lovely details to pull the whole theme together!  Take a peek! You'll love it!

Big thanks to my second photographer for the day Josh (who captured several images above), and shout out to a few of my vendor friends:  Lori Lu's Floral Designs (Lili's Bouquet) and Kacie Corbelle (Lili's Makeup and hair).

Lili + Jim I hope you have the best of years together!!

Turner Hill Mansion Wedding - Kate + Ted's Love Story

I was honored to be a part of Kate + Ted's stunning, classic North Shore wedding!  This NYC couple celebrated in style in the Mansion at Turner Hill in Ipswich.  A gorgeous estate with a lot of character and beautiful grounds.  There is SO much I could share from this wedding, but here are some highlights!

The day began in Newburyport at the Garrison Inn.  Love the brick!

It was HOT HOT HOT inside the church, but water was passed out for everyone to drink during the ceremony!

Back to Turner Hill where we spent a little time with just Ted + Kate.

Absolutely obsessed with the red door!!  A little pop of color can be amazing!!

How creative is the cake topper?  Love it!!

Dinner was outside in the tent, and then it was back to inside where they filled the dance floor and celebrated all night long! The band was perfect!

Thank you so much Kate + Ted!

Special thanks to Brooke and Kelly, my second shooters, for an amazing wedding!

Nicole + Michael's Love Story

Nicole + Michael put together a very elegant and modern wedding!  It was a steamy hot day, but we managed to endure the sun for a First Look session in front of the cliffs at Black Rock Country Club!  I could have photographed in front of that rock wall all day long...

Here's their First Look session (if you don't know, that's when the bride and groom decide to set aside a special time for just the two of them, to see each other before the ceremony).

Super friendly group of girls which always makes the day nice! Thanks girls!!

Vivid colors and natural light flooded the reception room.  Peaches, pinks, and light blue!  And the peonies, OH the peonies (my favorite flower).

 First dance and toasts!!

And to top it off, a gorgeous sunset!!

Thanks Nicole and Mike!!  I'm glad we didn't melt.  Your band was awesome!!

Thank you to my talented second for the day for capturing some of these images -- Cara Brostrom from Wonder-Bliss
